AMC pots not Life Time Warranteed

Three (3) years ago my wife bought AMC Classic Cookware and stored it.When I used the one pot just before the third year.. The pot rims burnt... However I di not use any oil in the pot just water.... I've email Customers Service Lansdowne Western Cape. They said the pot overheated and the residue caused the burnt on the pot not even the bottom of the pot.. It was said the will repolish the pot at a cost..... And I refuse to pay anything as it was not my fault at all...

What about the life-long warrantee?

It is obviously a flaw in the manufacturing process!!!

Customer service contacted me keep on saying its not a Manufacturing fault and that they would repolish the pot at NO Cost but I should take the pot to the Bellville or Century City Branch.... Which I did not agreed on.

They said I cannot get my money back as I bought the pots three (3) years ago.... But it's said Life Time Warranty...

These pots are so expensive, one would not expect this type of thing to happen and such poor client service. Is there any consumer that I can report this to and get some assistance?
