AMC Classic Cookware Lifetime guarantee???

Goeiedag. Ek het in 1981 'n stel AMC Classic kookware gekoop. My een pot (19cm omtre by 9 cm hoog )het uit die kas geval. The base got separated from the pot. Ek het AMC Classic ge****ak. Hulle het my laat weet dat ek 50% van die herstelkoste moet betaal???? TERMINOLOGY Encapsulated vs non-encapsulated base. In old ranges of AMC, the base was non-encapsulated. If this base starts to separate or separates completely from the cookware, it is usually a fault in workmanship. This is covered by the lifetime guarantee.
