A company who has lost the way!

Have a pressure cooker. After about 8 years the element failed. Took it to AMC in Centurion and it was replaced in 10 minutes at a fair cost. A year later the element failed again. Was told it now had to go to Cape Town for repair and it would take 4-6 weeks.

Got the pot back and after 3 min of use it tripped the mains. Called Cape Town and was told it had to go back for another cycle of 4-6 weeks of waiting.

How poor is the repair service - very! What does a lifetime guarantee mean? Not sure as with the only service centre in Cape Town one would expect some kind of replacement offer after so many problems
