Very bad and deteriorating service from Amazon

Amazon's service has unfortunately really deteriorated very badly. I have been a loyal customer for many years, but don't think I will use them any longer. I placed an order (Order # ***) on 20 April 2025 for two units of an item (one was a gift which I needed already). Then suddenly the item was temporarily unavailable. It became available, but still did not ship. Now items are again indicated as unavailable. I have contacted customer service three times now with no luck and just empty promises and lies - get generic answers copied from somewhere with NO real assistance. I was told items are at warehouse and shipping will be expedited (apparently, they logged a request) - nothing happened. Then again told order is being prepared for shipping - still nothing happened. Latest date for parcel to be delivered was supposedly 26 May 2025 and I was assured (two days ago) that items will be shipped and will be delivered on date as indicated by Amazon. When I checked this morning, the expected delivery date has just been changed by Amazon to 4 June 2025 without informing me or giving me any explanation for the further delays!! Associates did not even try to resolve this issue (even after I said on more than one occasion that something else is wrong here) - I am ignored and just getting same generic responses and lies every time I contact them. And now I am still waiting and not sure I will ever get this parcel!!! Really disappointing that Amazon's service has deteriorated this badly.
