My Amazon items are missing and were ******.

I ordered a google pixel 8, 30W fast charger and phone cover for a pixel 8. My package was ordered on the 15-02-2024. It arrived 28-02-2024 but it was lighter than expected. I opened the package and only found the cover. From here i notified Amazon customer service and was told to get a police report as a third party must have ****** my items. I went to do an affridavit with the police and sent that to Amazon and keep getting the same reply of my police report cannot be verified. This is ongoing and customer support does not tell me what is missing or why it cannot be verified. I would warn anyone of purchasing anything of value from Amazon in South Africa until they get customer service you could actually phone. My package upon further inspection shows signs of tampering and the tape is of different sizes i.e. the original looking tape is not as wide as the outer tape layer and is also not the same colour. The inside bottom of the box where the lid or bottom flaps of the box come together look like some tape was cut and had cut strips of amazon labeled tape sticking through the gap. There is also a box cutter cut mark on the one side next to the amazon tape i opened my box with a dull car key and only from the top.
