Unacceptable Service and No Resolution from Amazon South Africa

I am disappointed with the level of service I have received from Amazon South Africa. I placed an order for a geyser, but instead received a completely incorrect item in poor condition. The packaging appeared tampered with and that raises serious concerns about quality control. I reported this issue on Monday, with an assistant who failed at her duty of assisting as she pretended as though she was taking steps to assist but to find out has been done. It is now Wednesday with no clear resolution, no collection arranged, and no communication providing a way forward. As a customer, this is unacceptable. I should not have to chase for a resolution when the error is clearly on Amazon’s side. This is my first and last order on Amazon.
