Amazon South Africa - hot air?

I have been unable to get any contact with Amazon South Africa. I write and publish on Amazon Kindle Unlimited, some of my books are in Afrikaans. I get paid in US$, but the bank charges are often more than the payments. My books are not listed on Amazon.co.za. Amazon.com advised me to contact Amazon South Africa, but their callback service or chat service does not work. Their competition, Kobo, has no problems listing my books in South Africa, or paying me in ZAR.
