Amazon South Africa - disappointing!

I ordered an ACTIVE Mosquito Repellent UV Ray Lamp from Amazon for R850, specifically a battery-operated model. However, they initially sent me a completely different and inferior product, which was not battery-operated and sells for only R200 on Takealot. I rejected it.

Amazon then sent me the correct ACTIVE Mosquito Repellent UV Ray Lamp, but again, it was not battery-operated as advertised. I rejected this as well.

After these errors, Amazon requested that I post both incorrect items back. However, given the unreliability of postal services in South Africa, I objected and instead requested that they arrange a courier for collection. They agreed but have failed to follow through.

To make matters worse, all the emails I received from Amazon came from a no-reply address, meaning I was unable to respond directly to communicate or resolve the issue efficiently. This has only added to the frustration.

As a result, I am now out of pocket, stuck with two incorrect items that I never ordered and do not want, while Amazon has not provided any resolution. This entire situation has been frustrating and inconvenient.

I expect Amazon to take responsibility and resolve this matter promptly.
