Shocking Service from Amazon

I purchased a book from Amazon on 30 November 2019 as a Christmas present. I paid R366.03 for the book. On 01 December 2019, I was informed that the book had been shipped and would be delivered to me between 11 and 23 December 2019.

By 26th December 2019, the book was still not received and the updates from Amazon stated that the delivery was running late.

On 27th December 2019, I received an email from the seller (Reuseaworld) stating that the item was probably lost and that they would refund me. To my horror, the amount refundable was only R223-51, a third of what I had paid. This is ****************. I will never use Amazon again and urge other potential customers to use them with caution as their service delivery to South Africa is very poor. I will NEVER use Amazon again.
