<p>So I used the 30 minutes free data in malls a couple of times. Then decided to give them some money and bought a 1GB bundle. Installed the official app from Play store. Since then my phone won't even connect to use the free promo data. This bundle is going to expire unused because I seem to have been blocked from their network for giving them money.</p>

Quick service, which is now prompting my rating change.
It turns out you have to disable mobile data (on my phone at least, Wileyfox Swift with Cyanogen 13.1.2) before AlwaysOn will connect. As a networking guy for 20+ years, my guess would be that it has something to do with Android falling back to mobile routing faster than the app can check if it can reach the authentication servers via WiFi. That's fine with me, but it should really be displayed more prominently (or at all) on the app.
I suggested to the friendly lady from support who phoned me that the app be updated to make this information more visible. I think that would reduce negative experiences.
