Gas plate is dangerous

When load shedding started, I bought an Alva High Pressure Burner from my local Builders Express. Last night while cooking rice on the burner (load-shedding) the burner bent and the boiling water slipped off it. It is so flimsy! I wish I had listened to the adage you get what you pay for. The trouble is this quality is dangerous because the boiling water could have fallen onto me or one of my family! So I went and bought a Cadac burner today-far better quality and a whole lot more sturdy
