Dangerous Goods

I purchased a free standing gas cooker made by Alva - Stingray Industries. Certain aspects of the cooker were in my opinion too sharp for safe handling. Initially I was disappointed with the response but then the Managing Director Matthew Grudz took a personal interest, he has undertaken to ensure that in future units will be inspected and was most sincere in his apologies for his company's initial reaction. Despite the units being manufactured overseas at no time did he try and abdicate responsibility.<br> My complaint was lodged over the Christmas break.<br> Despite being overseas at the time Mr Grudz immediately arranged a replacement unit to be couriered to me<br> and has offered to upgrade to a more expensive unit if would prefer. I would not and am completely satisfied with the reaction from Stingray Industries. All companies make mistakes but it is the attitude in solving them that sets the better companies apart.
