Vodacom Support and Upgrade
I like you to call me as soon as possible, I am relay not happy the way I am treated by Vodacom upgrade department.
On the 4 of December 2019 I was call in myself to upgrade my one contract, and the consultant who helps was Mr Mbulelo Mjari. Where we discusses a few options, he recommended the Y7 and told me I can have the Y7 with 64 GB on board memory and 50 min to any network, and 50 SMS and Clip for R 229.00 per month, where I received the handset on the 11 December 2019, where I found that this Y7 have only 32 BG on board memory, and called in to speak to Mr Mjari, where he offers me more data to keep the handset but I refuses, I want the right handset, what he recommend, so the handset was returned by RAM, and collected on the 12 December 2019, where I called in again and ask for Mr Mjari, and wait on the returned process and ask for a P20, but he only can supply me with a P20 lite.
I received the P20 Lite on the 21 December 2019, and charge the unit, as per requirements on the booklet, the handset was getting extremely hot on the fingerprint sensor at the back, and when I used the handset the battery only last for 6 hours, when using WhatsApp or navigation the unit get so hot at the fingerprint sensor, and the display get so hot you can't use the unit to make any calls.
The unit was returned and Ram pick it up on the 26 December 2019, and up to now I still waiting on a handset or what so ever, I called in more than 15 times and waiting for Mrs Ady one of the supervisors to call me back and promises to help me as soon as possible.
Monday Mr Stllo Mkhabela promises to call me back on Tuesday the 7 January 2020, before 11am but no returned call at all up to now.
So I am really disappointed in Vodacoms services, and will take this matter up with social media, maybe I will get response to my queries.
