I Strongly Suggest that you do not use this Company. They don't create Solutions but create More problems. They don't provide Convenience but inconvenience you. Instead of assisting to Get you Financial Freedom, they put you in Financial Burden. If I knew this Earlier, I would have just waited in line and I'm sure the 18k Sepnt for assistance, would have help go a Long way. When people need assistance with UIF, that Means THEY REALLY NEED THE FUNDS. Praying on People's Need for Money is inhuman. I the Beginning of June we had Initial asked for Assistance with UIF as it was a Struggle. We were Charge R950 To begin the Process. That's when everything went Down hill. Then asked for 2.2k Because this Claim Has a lot of "Complications". They mentioned that the Former Employee did not submit but claimed. There was Also a Covid 19 Claim that they had 2 Sort out and the Standard uif Claim. Then they Mentioned that to Clear all these we Need 2.8k, then the Claim is Done, you'll get your Pay out. Funny how they capture you, because they casually mentioned that the claim is a lot, over 85k that will be Recieved. Later after a day or So, after receiving Payment, they mentioned that we were a bit late, we need R200 to get Authorization Codes. Once that is sent, They said all is Done, then they asked For R650 for Service. Then we asked How when we haven't received anything, let alone seen the Work, what service. Now we threatened that this claim won't go through. After Paying, a few Days we had to Ask what's going because nothing has been Paid. They later come back and say oh, sorry, it Bounced, we need to re issue it, but we need 2.1k for reissue, when asking for refund, they say no claim is done, we can't refund (How when you have to reissue, clearly it's not Done), but they insist it is. When asked what the money for reissue is, they mention that the money is a lot, they have to Split the payments into 3 to make it Easier for it to go through. Mind you, the 3 Split claim also failed, when we asked, they say yours is not the only 1, a few Claims failed(Sales Talk), Then they said, we have to Baypass and Paid, we said ok go on, but we need 2k, I was like there is noway this isn't a ****. They said they made everything correct, but when we log in, nothing has Changed, and "Apparently" That's the Old link. After they had Checked, a message Came in saying we need to 5 more days to this, we need 3.8k, we said no, they said claim will be close and that will be it. Refund? No refund because claim is Closed. (But need 3.8k to add 5 Days), when we asked for Proof of Work, "It's Closed now, can't show anything as the claim is Gone" but after the 3.8k, We will submit refund of previous Work and add to Current Claim. Rejected again, came back, saying we need 1.8 For further Breakdown of the pay out. We then asked for the new link, denied access, said you are not an authorized user. They proceed to ask how much do you have, will assist with top up so we can pay these funds and close this Claim. After they asked for Rebate Balance so we can get the Funds, R2250. Then R980 For each account the Funds are going to to be pushed through to get The Funds, and you guessed it, nothing happened.. Today I'm writing this because we were asked for more Money because we were Slightly Late with rebate Funds another R1800 is Needed. I honestly don't know what to do anymore, because the minute you speak refund, they fight and say we can't refund something that is done. But how is it done when they keep asking for Money. And if we don't pay, they are closing the Claim.

Contradictory information provided.
Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally log an urgent complaint regarding the severe delay in the processing and payout of my UIF maternity benefit. On 1 July 2026, I visited the Cape Town CBD branch to sign for my maternity payment. Below is a summary of the timeline and contradictory information provided by your call center to date: 1 July 2026: Signed for my maternity benefit at the Cape Town CBD branch. 17 July 2026: Contacted the call center to follow up. I was advised that my application was still within the standard 15-working-day processing period and was told to call back on Monday, 20 July. 20 July 2026: Called again and was assured that the payment would reflect in my account by today, 22 July. 22 July 2026: Spoke to two consultants, Nomfundo and Pretty. I was informed that my payment had not previously been approved, was only processed today, and that I must now wait an additional 15 days. When I requested to escalate this matter and log a formal complaint, Nomfundo agreed to escalate it. However, upon calling back, another agent stated that agents cannot transfer calls and that no escalation had been recorded. The second agent, Pretty, subsequently informed me that she was unable to assist me with lodging a complaint. Call reference with Nomfundo: C*** UIF contributions are deducted monthly from my salary without failure, yet I am now left without my entitled funds and facing extreme financial hardship, unable to purchase essential supplies for my newborn daughter. Please provide immediate feedback on the following: 1. The formal resolution and immediate release of my pending payment. 2. The official escalation and complaint procedure, given that your call center agents refused to log my grievance. I look forward to your urgent intervention and prompt response. Sincerely, [Lacon Kim Potgieter]

atrocious service and theft of my benefits
I recently got retrenched after working for 13 months. In march 2025 i started work at Cape cup in Cape town and in March 2026 my position became redundant and i was retrenched. In March 2026,I app**** for UIF benefits and waited for more than 30 days with no communication. I then called their call Centre and a query was logged. I then got a message and an email telling me that my matter was finalized and i needed to go to Cape Town labor centre to activate my claim together with bank confirmation details. When i eventually saw a consultant, I was advised by an intern, that the matter that was finalized, was my 2023 claim, which had 195 credits. This credits were not paid to me in my 2023 claim. After several complaints to the team leader at the labor centre,a new consultant was given the task of sorting my matter. This new consultant deactivated my 2023 claim, and then put in a claim for my 13 month benefits. !.His calculation was wrong-He only put in 21 credits-The credits should have been 70.42- 2.I was only paid for the 21 credits -R4650-and told thats the only and last payment. 3.I have called the call centre several times and nobody is knowledgeable about anything. 4.I have sent several emails, added all documents required, and still get the same answer. 5..No one has investigated this matter. I am frustrated as i worked for my previous company for 17years and they deactived my claim without paying what was due to me. I believe because this is an outsourced private company therefore, they are refusing to pay.

DISAPPOINTING
I app**** for UIF benefits on the 24th of September, they were apparently received on the 11th of October. I never received any communication until I called back on the 11th of November only to be told they were awaiting feedback. I called back a week later the matter was escalated. I received feedback that my claim was rejected as I had resigned. The next day I submitted a letter from HR confirming that I was retrenched. I called again to check if they had received the document and the lady asked me to reapply, which I did only to receive the same feedback that I had resigned even after the previous gentleman who had escalated had said he would updated on the system that I was retrenched. When you speak to agents, they never say 14 or 25 BUSINESS days, which is deceptive because 14 calendar days or business days should be clearly defined. Had I not been told to reapply, my case would have remained assigned to the same person, instead it caused another delay and negative experience.
