Order Placed on 8 August Still Not Received
I would like to formally express my disappointment regarding an order I placed with Al’s Hqrdware on 8 August. At the time of placing the online order, the website indicated that 13 items were in stock, which gave me the expectation that my order would be processed and delivered within a reasonable timeframe. It is now 27 August, and I still have not received my order. What is particularly frustrating is the complete lack of communication from the supplier side. I have had to contact Al’s Hardware myself repeatedly to ask for updates and to find out what is happening with my order. I understand they you are waiting for the supplier, but I have repeatedly asked whether someone could please contact the supplier and provide me with at least an estimated delivery date. Yesterday, I was told that someone would call me back in the afternoon with an update. I am still waiting for that call. I should not have to continuously chase the company for information regarding an order that I have already paid for and placed almost three weeks ago. If there is a delay with the supplier, I expect Al’s Hardware to communicate this to me proactively and provide a realistic estimated delivery date. The lack of communication and follow-up has been extremely disappointing.

Sterling service at Al's Hardware Ruimsig Store
It was almost closing time on Sunday 26 April 2026, when I was received outside the Ruimsig store by Lesego. He escorted me immediately to the cashier where my goods were waiting for my payment. Lesego not only facilitated the speedy process, but he also managed to reduce the selling price of the goods to match that of the Amalgam Store. I was absolutely pleased. Lesego is a valuable asset to the Ruimsig Store. Keep up the sterling service.

Sterling service at Al's Hardware Ruimsig Store

NEVER USE THEM
Al's hardware Ruimsig is the worst hardware i have experienced in 20yrs of business i went in store to order 2 cube building sand and confirmed 3 times it be delivered same day at 17:00. I phoned to be promised it be the next morning 08:30 i then phoned at 7:30 to confirm it be there 08:30 and by 08:45 called again and was told be 30Min at 11: still nothing arrived. try calling to get no answer tried using different number and got immediate answer to then be told the delivered to wrong address and they will go collect redeliver to correct address which was given. At loss to time and wages for no form of care from store or even management. never mind the loss of materials do to there reloading of sand from wrong address with no remuneration. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING ANY OTHER HARDWARE.
