ALR TELECOMMUNICATIONS BAD SERVICE

ALR Telecommunications, horrible, horrible, horrible..

So @alr_telecom is a *******, a **** of a company that does telecommunications. I had signed up for an "unlimited" package which includes "unlimited voice calls and unlimited internet" for my business. The deal was sealed and signed in November 2020. In that same month, i experienced a horrible connectivity of both internet and calls, through out. I went through such a hassle to get it resolved (phone calls and texts) with the service providers, whom initially told me that i needed to purchase an extender so that the signal could be stronger.. Like?? ***. That was never part of oir agreement, i did not sign up for such nonsense. Only after i had made up my mind to cancel the contract they opted to change me to a better network, from telkom to MTN. That was done, along with the change of a router to a better one, however, i was not told that my internet plan would change to something different! Guess what, 100GB p/m, from unlimited. Ok fine, but guess what, the price for this service still remains at a shocking R1500 per month. Ive been disputing this as its an unfair charge for a package i can easily get for like 350 or 400 a month. My contract was not ammended to suite the value of the new plan they put me on, guess how i had to find out... By being capped in the month while busy with work on the internet.

Ive opted for a better solution from their accounts department, spoke to their sales manager Segomotso Shiping, who has been ducking from my calls, tossing me from pillar to post, Bongani, same story, spoke to Nicole, same story.

I choose to terminate my contract with immediate effect as the service im receiving does not match what ive signed for in the contract which i have a copy of. The debit order will be stopped, and this can be resolved through the legal route.

Never will i recommend ALR TELECOMMUNICATIONS to ANY of my associates, friends, business partners or any1 in that matter!
