VW Alpine pinetown, *******ion.

Good, people. I would like to share my saddest story, remember, one thing" unexpected event". Reason being" most trusted brand in the world. That is VW from Wolfsburg (Germany). Segmentation, VW South Africa, franchise (VW Alpine motors).

I bought a pre owned VW Polo 1.2(comfortline) 2017 model. From Alpine motors Pinetown. With salesperson (Mayanda Zulu). Through ABSA finance. On the 7th of November 2018. I went for delivery. Then, the salesperson, she claimed" going out for another delivery" . Urgent in that matter.

One the very same date, just after 2 hours on the drive, from the dealership. The actual car had mechanical problems, reason being," lack of power from the engine, lot of surplus smoke from the axhaust system".

I tried, to get hold of them, but, there was no proper response after. Some had to answer to phone on her position, " Mayanda' phone , how can I help you?" For almost rest of the week. Then, I had to realize, that " there was a day light *******". Because, she was pretending to be absent those days.

Follow week, I decided to call VW South Africa, seeking for proper guidance. To be honest they try by all means to get hold of her. She was pretending to be in a sorrow. Claiming,to bring the car for diagnosis. Then, VW South Africa organised a towing service ( Vees towing company) from Greytown. They also delay the process, they brought the car. 3 days after.

The car went for diagnosis, there said" coil part of the spugs had problem. Claim to have replaced the actual part. 2 days after, I went to dealership, met master cars manager (Damon Nel) . Reckon, the car was fixed. Remember, buying a car from VW , few hours after, there was a proper problem.

I took the car on that date, but also ask salesperson (Mayanda Zulu) , why the car licencing took delay?. She, said they will call me , meaning (licence department) from Alpine in that case. I took car without a disc, permit and a road worth certificate.

Festive season, driving from Greytown to Durban. There was a smoke coming from the ventilation system. Surphuric like. I made a call to notify them. Salesperson (Mayanda Zulu) personal. She took the blame to manager (Damon Nel).

On the 1st of February, I decided to hand over there car. So that they can return the money to ABSA. Salesperson present (Mayanda Zulu), she claimed the company will compensate myself with something. Even today,I m still paying for the car that is not on my presence.

Reviewer Update
On the 25th February 2019 (Monday), somewhere around 09h46. Received a phone call from + ********** 7766, recognised to be Mayanda's office landline (evidence can be provided). Wasn't seen as proper phone call, beacuse, she was talking to someone nearby herself," he has posted us on Hello peter", quoted. I was listening to that call for almost 2 minutes. Few seconds after, the call was ended, without any intended function of it. "To be honest with you, I thought that call was unintentionally". But, also second thought," maybe was intended,to play with my mind as usual." Even now, almost the next day after you responded here, I haven't received any call from VW South Africa or the dealership itself. My only will for now. Is that Alpine motors must return the money to ABSA for settlement. So, that, I can peaceful go another VW dealer. Where there's no *******ion, ********* commission claiming between the franchisee personels, whereby "manager (Damon Nel) and salesperson (Mayanda Zulu) tend to benefit from vurinerable loyal brand customers. Bare in mind, I'm still paying for a s**** car, claiming to be a VW polo. My only big concern, where did two WV Alpine reps (Damon and Mayanda) got the car from. Still, caught off guard even now. How can a most trusted VW franchise dealership, allows there representatives to ***** from customers . Regards, Mthobisi Myende (076 907 0601)
