Shocking service! *******! Don't use Alpine Motors in Pinetown
<p>I am outraged with the service from Alphine Motors in Pinetown. I took my car in for repairs which cost me R28522.25. Whilst my car was there I also had a service where they changed my break fluid etc. Once the car was fixed I had to pay another R150 odd to release the car. Once my I had received my car I noticed when breaking my car would shudder (something to do with a disc) they are now saying that there was no problem with my car in that regard when I took it in for repairs. They have now quoted me an additional amount of R1400 odd... I am so furious because I never had this issue when I took my car in!!! I am so disgusted and thing they are just looking for anything to make a buck!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Plus I always get a freaking Alpine Motors Sticker when its on my card that I do NOT want it. Hello Nicola,
The vehicle you brought in was in a accident, which came in for major repairs.
Upon fixing the vehicle and being test driven, there was no report from the technician of a shudder.
Evette, our Service Advisor then booked you a loan vehicle to check the shudder that you were referring to. Evette then advised you that if we are to replace the discs, skimming would be more cost effective , which was R 1255.
Please advise if we can assist you with this?
