Service department only looking to make money before even looking at the fault

I am totally dissapointed with the service I received from Alpine Volkswagen Pinetown.Last week I called in and spoke to Sumit regarding a 120 000 service on my car. He quoted me R2200 as it was a special they were running. I explained to him I kickstarted my car when the battery was dead and after that the airbag light came on. I asked him if he can put it off he said yes while they are doing the diagnostic on the car they can put it off as it is common with the polo. He did say the diagnostics was included with the service. So on Friday I booked the car in for service and Evette was my service advisor I told her I was quoted R2200 for the service by Sumit she called him to verify it. Then I told her I needed the airbag light to be put off. She then goes on to say it is +/- R850 to do a diagnostic on the car as it is a hours labour. I said Sumit said it is included with the service she said Sumit is just a costing clerk and doesnt know anything about how the service department and workshop is run. I said to her this is what he told me, she never bothered phoning him to verify this. I told her if this was the case I should of booked the car with an RMI workshop. All this time she is telling me how much it is going to cost for a diagnostics as workshop needs to answer for there hours. So what is this you guys make incentives on how much money you bring in for the workshop department. You cannot beat Barons the type of service you receive and they worry about there customers going the extra mile. This was my first time at Alpine and they are just there to make money out off people. I even made an appointment with your new car salesman that day to trade my car in. But I will be going back to Barons. I asked for the parts that was changed to be placed in my car and that was not done. I noticed you guys peeled off the barons sticker from the back of my car and never bothered cleaning it up properlyWho asked yourll to remove it in the first place. I expect a call from your dealer principal and no one else.
