********* and Unapologetic Excuses for Bad Service

My complaint goes back to September 2011, when I first purchased my VW Polo Sedan(brand new from Alpine VW. A day after picking up my car the problems began. Blown electric window motor, cosmetics falling off the car and the list went on. I took the car back and was told that it would not be possible. The query was raised with the National Credit regulator and I was eventually convinced to keep the car by the dealer principal. Tons of empty promises that til today have not been fulfilled. Last year I took the vehicle in and was told that I had problems with a gear box mounting that needed replacing. The mounting was replaced under warranty but further damage was caused to other parts of the car including gearbox, manifold and steering column. I took the vehicle back the same week whilst still under warranty - I honestly cant count the times since. To date my complaints raised whilst the vehicle was under warranty were not attended to, at a point where I am driving the car with a broken steering column. I paid for a steering rack which did not need replacing and now I get told I need to pay labor for a steering column as well as they made a mistake.
