Alpine Motors Pinetown soddy workmanship & bad service!

I had my Amarok serviced by #Alpine Motors in Pinetown on the 13 July 2023. I was assured by the service advisor that everything was fine when I picked my car up & he even commented that the brakes were good until the next service (read on). About a week later a warning light came on, on the dash, indicating that the air filter needed to be replaced. I took it into #Alpine Motors in Pinetown on 26th July to have the problem sorted out (very inconvenient - another day without a car!) They said the cleaned it - this took ALL DAY! I left for a holiday on Friday 10th November driving from Durban to Mossel Bay. About halfway through the trip, I noticed that the front brakes were making a grinding noise. By the end of this trip the brakes were completely worn out, grinding "metal on metal" and not working very well. This was only 7000km after the car was serviced at #Alpine Motors in Pinetown. Due to the brake problem, I was unable to use my car on the Saturday or Sunday. On Monday I took it to #Mossel Bay Volkswagen, which was a pleasure, the service and people there are awesome! They got parts in from George and sorted the problem out by early afternoon. I cannot say enough good things about #Mossel Bay VW. You guys’ rock! So, THREE days of my holiday ruined by #Alpine Motors in Pinetown due to their shoddy workmanship lack of proper service. What compensation do I get for these lost days from #Alpine Motors? I am now asking the question – Was my car actually serviced on 13th July?
