IUM insurance 3rd party Claim not paid

I am writing this review hoping someone will read and assist me to recover my loss. I was involved in car accident 07 March 2019 where a -+20 ton truck drove into me at robot intersection in Selby Booysens, The accident was reported to the metro police and I got a case number, exchanged details with the truck driver. He works for a company called Reymar Freight based in jet park and he gave me his company contact number and his managers number so I can contact them regarding a claim since my car was not insured. The following day I contacted the drivers manager who was keen to assist and gave me details of their insurance company UIM. I contacted IUM and submitted the documents as they requested they in turn handed my case over to their attorneys as apparently they outsource 3rd party claims I was requested to also submit further documentation to the attorneys of which I provided as requested back in March 2019. Fast forward to 2020 Ive lost my car and up to this day I am still waiting for settlement from these people. I have been communicating with the attorneys and the claims administrator from UIM and they only reply to my mail once in while and the feedback I’m getting from them is that they are waiting for a section 2 payment and they’ve escalated the matter as urgent to the broker, this is the feedback I’ve been getting for the past 8 months or so. Surely if something is escalated as urgent there should be some kind of urgency and a turnaround time but not with this case. It’s a year later and the feedback remains the same. I suffered traumatic stress from this and lost my car in the process I cannot afford a lawyer to handle this for me it’s frustrating to be just ignored and not finding resolution or closure. I’m writing hoping to find assistance and closure to this matter but I will not rest until they settle my car.
