RENT NOT PAID By Agent Nonku Khasali

RENT NOT PAID….I found an agent by the name of Nonku Khasali on the internet from Allegiance Property Soma in Mulberton, I thought that since the estate agent company was closer to my house then they would be able to assist me with renting out my property. I had relocated to another province due to work and I explained to Nonku Khasali that my financial situation was not good due to the relocation and she promised to find me tenants asap and she did find tenants as she promised but due to my house being damaged by other tenants, then the new tenants reverted and they decided not rent and I was okay with that. So Nonku Khasali called me saying that she was going to rent my house as she was doing some renovations at her house…We had a verbal agreement that she would rent the 1 month from 15 April to 15 May 2023 because my siblings were going to be moving in the house permanently…Around the 15 May or so she called me begging to stay till end of June and I had no problem with that but I advised her that end of June 2023 she must out …Nonku Khasali and her husband moved in as per our agreement and she paid the rent immediately in April. When it was moving out week, thinking that she was going as per our agreement that by end of June they must out, she wasn’t ready but I insisted that people were ready to move in on the last day of June. So she managed to move out but she and her husband left the house in shambles, it was dirty and had old furniture that was falling apart and my siblings had to clean the house. Then it came to the payment for the rent which was half of the month of May, Nonku promised to make payments by the 3rd of June then never paid, when asked her when she was going to pay, she said the next day 4th June. Every day I sent her messages and call her following up with the payment and she would say the next day. 11th June comes and she hasn’t paid then I called her office in Mulberton and I asked for her manager and I explained my situation and I was advised that her manager would call me the next week because I had called on a Friday and her manager had already knocked off work. A few minutes later Nonku Calls me saying that her manager was shouting at her cause I complained about her and Nonku asked me if I wanted to get her fired. I told her that I have been asking her every day about when she would make the payment and I have been the one texting, calling and she never made it her responsibility to be the one calling me as she is the one owing me money. She was very upset on the phone. Then a few days later her husband calls me and promised to make the payment on the 15th June but never paid then I texted her again and she never responded. Her manager has not called me and a week has passed. I am very disappointed by Allegiance Property if they treat all their customers like this, not taking responsibility in making sure that rent is paid in time. This is not over, I will take this further and Nonku Khasali will regret not paying my rent. She takes advantage of people and makes herself to be this nice person, yet she is cruel. I explained my financial situation to her when we met and I thought she was genuine but she takes advantage of my kindness.
