I recently purchased an Oztrail Sportivia 8 person tent from a relatively unknown online company in Brackenfell Western Cape after seeing the advert on Gumtree. Immediately a red-flag went up. I sent an email inquiry to which I immediately got a response requesting my WhatsApp in order to better communicate. I was extremely cautious as I was about to part with thousands of Rands to a company I have never heard of before. My online experience and shopping is normally with Takealot.com a reputable, efficient and credible company but because of the five thousand Rand saving I was willing to take a chance more so after communicating with Lesley from the company whom was so efficient and responsive referring me to reviews of their company before I make payment. I consulted the reviews all positive may I add but still had reservations due to the current unacceptable online ***** globally. Lesley was able to answer all my product related inquiries (with prior research of my own) so efficient and convincingly that I bought the product. Normally a courier fee is payable but because I am a pensioner Lesley made a plan and had my tent delivered on the day as promised. That's important as it is indicative of company credibility and efficiency. I reserved my review as I first wanted to test all aspects of this company especially after sales service which is pathetic with most companies in South Africa with the exceptions of Takealot.com. I went camping pitched the tent and was immediately impressed after camping for about fifty years of which the last thirty was with a mixture of caravans and tents. After retirement I sold my new Jurgens Penta my new Ford Ranger and all our camping gear as I was finished with camping more so because my wife and I retired in Langebaan our house a metre from the water's edge. However, as the saying goes "once a camper always a camper". We started from scratch with various tents from Coleman's quick pitched 7 and 8 person tents and cabins to Tenco Senior DeLux to Campmor Outlander dome, the last two far too heavy albeit the best quality, but alas my wife was not happy with any of these until I met Lesley who sold us the most practical tent the Oztrail Sportavia eight person tent. What a quality, spacious and practical tent bought from a fantastic lady Lesley and company .....All Outdoor and Home. Thank you so much Lesley for your patience, advice and professionalism. You restored my confidence in business in South Africa. If only more companies would follow your and that of your company's business ethos this country would be great again .....Sherman. God bless
