Alibaba is Bad Business. Avoid dealing with them if you value your money.

Shortly after placing and paying the product orders I found that I was no longer able to communicate with the seller because my account was deactivated. In fact I couldn't do anything when logged into my alibaba account. Attempts to get help left me frustrated and without answers. The only automated reason they give is "due to security reasons". I f there is a security risk to Alibaba why did they take my money in the first place? The reason given is in anyway nonsense and that is why they wont elaborate on what exactly the reason for deactivating my account is. At this stage I spent a significant amount of money and have nothing to show. The only thing I was able to do is ask for a refund only to be notified to take the issue up with the seller. The irony is that the seller has been wonderful up to the point were Alibaba deactivated my account. Trying to resolve this issue directly with Alibaba is like chasing your own tail.This to me is extremely bad. One expects effective and trusted procedures from a big name like Alibaba. What a expensive an d frustrating disappointment.
