Stale bread

I bought 3 loaves of Albany bread (one white, two brown) from my local Spar. The brown bread were stamped with BB date of 12/01/2019. However, when I opened one of the loaves that evening it had a bad (sour smell). I immediately opened the other brown loaf - SAME problem. The white bread, by the way was stamped with BB date of the day I bought it and also smelt terrible.

I reported this on the Albany website and got NO RESPONSE!! They obviously do not care about customer service (or maybe don't even know what the phase means!).
