Damage to private Property

Over a month ago the truck delivering bread at 05.00am knocked into our gate post. After numerous Whatsapps from my son to Glen his manager contacted us and made an appointment to come at and look at the damages, that never happened instead Glen the assistant came out pretending to be a manager. Glen decided that the money for the damages would be deducted weekly an made it a point of making my son agree as the was now other solution. Now here's the crush Albany is not responsible for the trucks and drivers the company The Kempston Group is. So the manager Sherwin contacted my son and after lots of back an forth calls made by my son with his own airtime he promised that on the 7th of March 2025 a payment would be made into the account of the company that was going to sort the gate post out, proof of payment would be sent to my son. Nothing has happened. Bear in mind we had to run around getting quotes, emailing, phoning basically doing all the running around at our own cost, which will not be compensated for and the damage has still not been repaired. Albany Bakery you send big trucks into residential areas to deliver without any consideration for any damages caused by your drivers to our property, blocking our roads and causing unwanted problems. My gate post has not been fixed, the wall was also damaged but you Glen and Sherwin were only interested in the gate post. You driver missed our water meter by a few inches and yet you still don't want to repair anything else except the gate post. What absolutely disgusting service, misleading arrangements and lies from management. The wall and gate post to our property is causing a security hazard. Poor pathetic service from Albany and the Kempston Group. It so convenient from your positions Sherwin and Glen to lie and make false promises. The Kempston Group maybe you should consider getting better management and assistants than the ones you currently have. Its a pity the a large group like Kempston and Albany who make millions are so shoddy.
