Bread with inserts clawing

Over the weekend(Saturday) 2020/03/07 I went to one of the local supermarket(Checkmart Phoenix) to buy few things and bought my Albany bread as normal, I normal buy the low GI but I thought let me Try Roobibos and Rye. To my surprise to when I opened the bread today to make a sandwich after church, little insert were clawing around the bread and I dnt understand because it's was closed and the expiry date is 2020/03 /10. I thank God because my family does not like the bread n I'm scared because I had 2 slices yesterday. I love Albany and it's the only bread I buy for my family.
