Bread expired before the due date!!!

I bought a loaf of bread on a Tuesday, by Wednesday the entire loaf was mouldy and it wasn't even opened as yet. The due date at the back still gave me a few more days before it would really go off. We stay far away from the shop so we could not go for more. We had nothing to eat at that time. I called the call centre and they weren't even open I tried for about 2 days but still no answer. I have been told that this happened more than once. We had to throw the bread away which was also very very expensive!!!!!! I think we just going to buy another brand of bread now.
