No refund, no item
I purchased a clutch kit for a Ford on 24 July 2026 at Rylands branch. I was fortunate enough not to need the item and then to return the item. I was informed that a 10% handling fee would be deducted. Till today I have not seen a single cent and the item was over R1500. I would like to know why I have not received a refund and if they weren't able to refund why they took the item

No refund, no item
I purchased a clutch kit for a Ford on 24 July 2026 at Rylands branch. I was fortunate enough not to need the item and then to return the item. AHK must look into their staff's behavior
I went to the AHK branch in Van Riebeck Road to buy an item. When I got there, I asked the guy at the counter if they had a brake master cylinder for VW MK1, and he said they had it. I asked the price; he said it was R550/R579. Then, after a while, he said he could give it to me for R330, and he would like some cold drink money, R50. Then I told him I was using a card and he said that I can swipe it there by the counter, but I couldn't understand why the cashier did not see any problem with that, then it clicked to me that maybe that is their modus operandi by asking for money from the customers. I feel violated because R50 it is a lot of money.

Bad service
The worst service ever received in my life, initially i didnt want to go there, but i ended uo going, the staff anf manager was bery ********* and very unfriendly, a place. I woukd not recommend any of my friends and famiky to go to.

Faulty parts place
I have always read bad reviews about this place yet I gave them the benefit of the doubt and experienced first hand that they should be anyone's last resort. In my experience I will say they only sell faulty parts as I experienced this first hand on 2 different occasions. If you have money and time to waste I will highly recommend you go buy your parts here if not please stay far far away as it's the same as flushing your hard earn money down the drain.

In my experience I will say they only sell faulty parts as I experienced this first hand on 2 different occasions. If you have money and time to waste I will highly recommend you go buy your parts here if not please stay far far away as it's the same as flushing your hard earn money down the drain.

Very bad new car batteries
Bought 3 Osaka car batteries in 3 year latest one lasted 3 months and AHK refuse to return it they said i must drive to Goodwood to OSAKA but i bought it by AHK they also never answer their phones. So please be advice dont ever by car batteries by AHK Parow

Milk vs Car Spares - Moo moo
I recently bought parts for a service from AHK Vanderbijlpark. I am a woman not a man who knows cars, so I asked for a service kit on a Volvo S40. I was sold a very expensive pump of R760.00 which I did not need for a minor service which I did tell the Counter Salesman. I asked my brother to return the pump for me based on the background. He was at AHK Vanderbijlpark today and was told the slip clearly states no refund. But SELLING ME SOMETHING YOU KNOW I DONT NEED YO MAKE MONEY OFF ME just does not sit well with me. I even complained in store about the price but the salesman insisted I would need it and he had no generics only the original. I can not afford to buy parts which will collect dust because someone wants to make a buck off me sorry. Utterly disappointed that this happens to us as single woman. I feel "******" even "milked" for my hard earned money.
