Africology, a company without a heart, lack of customer service

My mother purchased a gift voucher for my sister, my sister had not used the gift voucher that was already paid for, and when she did book a treatment and wanted to use the voucher, Africology spa said she cannot use the voucher because the voucher had already expired. Yet there is no expiry date on the voucher. My explained to the owner and the owner’s daughter telephonically and in writing that there is no expiry date on the voucher, the voucher was a special gift from my mother and my mother had passed away since, and since it is/was a very special and emotional gift which my Motheg wanted her to have and use, she would really appreciate the opportunity to use this voucher especially because of the significance and sentimental value attached to the gift voucher. Unfortunately, Africology refused to allow my sister to use the gift voucher and said that the system would not allow gift vouchers that was expired, yet there is no expiry date on the voucher. We previously supported Africology, Suffice to say, we will not ever support Africology in the future. Their also describe and advertise themselves as a company with a soul, going back to nature, etc. however, their brand and values are is total contraction to their customer service. We are very disappointed, unhappy and disgusted with their feedback and lack of empathy and doing the right thing especially since the gift voucher was already paid forthwith no expiry date on the voucher.
