You can't list my name on credit bureau cause I don't owe you anything Afhco City Property
I have more than 3 months not staying at Afhco City property and I did apply for termination of the lease in time and I was granted permission to leave by their head office , yesterday I received sms threatening to handover my account I had with them for collections, to my greatest surprise I was paying my rent in advance and I never missed a single payment , On the sms Afhco is saying I owe them 6000 something, I have sent an email to different consultants who are working for Afhco City Property yesterday but non did respond, I even sent it to their customers service but still there was no response. Am afraid I will be listed on credit bureau for something I don't know and that may demage my credit score which may affect my plans of buying my on property. Please assist me, am tired of fighting with this property company from when I was still their tenant because of the incompetence services I always received with regard to their administrative services.

Following our previous communication.
Our investigation revealed that you had received a first month free rental which app**** on inception of your lease agreement.
This means that cancelling the lease before the end of the term, the first month free rental will therefore be billed when you vacate, hence the outstanding balance due.

Our investigation revealed that you had received a first month free rental which app**** on inception of your lease agreement.
This means that cancelling the lease before the end of the term, the first month free rental will therefore be billed when you vacate, hence the outstanding balance due.

08 Oct 2019, 12:27I mentioned that I paid my rent in advance by the time I was moving out I had money around 4000 with Afhco when I asked for it they said I can't get it so why was that money not taken to cover that first month free rental

08 Oct 2019, 12:29Something is not adding up, I never knew I will have to pay for that free month when I cancel my lease, nothing specify that on the contract. Unless I did not read properly.

After careful consideration and in view of your request to cancel the agreement before the end of the Initial Period (12 months period of the lease) thus breaching or not complying with the terms and conditions of your lease agreement; we are entitled over and above any rights in law to charge you a reasonable penalty of which you had received a first month free rental which app**** on inception of your lease agreement.
