WORST PROPERTY COMPANY EVER!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Afhco is the worst housing company under the sun and if you dont want a headache, do not even go there. I first stayed with Afhco around 2021 and I moved out of Impilo Place in 2024. I moved to another Afhco building and even then I struggled to get my deposit back

In August 2025, I served noticed, which I cancelled after a few days and opted to move from a bachelor to a 2-bedroom apartment. I literally had to chase after their administrators to finalize my lease as it was nearing the end of the month and I had not heard anything from them. The administrator split my deposit into two, and earlier this month when I followed up on the deposit of my bachelor unit I was told that it would not be paid out as it was used as a top up to my new unit.

UNDER WHOSE AUTHORISATION? Why then before occupation was a deposit calculated if they knew that with internal transfers they do not pay out the deposit? On the statement, there are all these costs calculated just to cover all the money that they are actually taking from our deposits. I am so angry because we barely have water, electricity is cut off, lights in the unit are not working and then on top of that we are subjected to such from the organisation is well. The administrator did not even care to listen to what I had to say, all she kept repeating was "I am relaying what I am being told by the debtors department, and I cannot confirm why the other agent did not tell you that you wont get your deposit back". She couldnt even explain why I was asked by REBONE for my bank letter IF I WASNT GOING TO RECEIVE MY MONEY BACK!!!!

After this new lease you will never see me again shame- I have had it!! Your reputation is BAD and you just have no desire to improve your customer services
