The worst customer service experience to date!!!!!

I used to be a tenant at one of afhco properties buildings (Etude in Midrand), i moved out a year ago due to poor property management and a clueless caretaker.

on the 1st of December 2022 i mistakenly paid an R6489.97 into their account, i then contacted the customer service telephonically then i was advised to send my proof of payment and proof of account details to their customer service email and my request will be processed which i did on the 2nd of December.

The following day i got an email from their customer service which said:

"We have escalated your requested to the relevant department, note the turn around time for a refund is 4-7 business working days" and "Your reference number: 770625"

after the 7 working days lapsed i called in and one of the consultants re-escalated the matter to the accounts department i then gave it 48 hours then called in again and spoke to Oleboheng M who then re-escalated the matter again and requested for bank statement, apparently proof of my bank account and proof of payment were not the right documents. I obliged and sent the bank statement to his email on 20/12/2022 that's where he also advised that within 48 hours he will get back to me.

I called in again on the 28th of December quoted my reference number and that consultant couldn't pick up anything with it and he basically took my info and didn't call me back as promised just like all the other consultants.

After the call i then sent a follow up email directly to Olebogeng M which i did not get any reply on.

Today was the day that i decided enough is enough because i have been following the process for over a month and there's still no sign of me getting my money back.

Today 4/01/2023 which is over a month since the initial request i called in and i was told there's still no update on my request and all of the sudden the person who deals with account and refunds is on leave.

Today i spoke to Noluthando and received another reference number 775064 which i honestly don't know what to do with it because when i call in and quote the previous reference number no one knew what to do with it and couldn't even track the progress using it.

Till today i have never received such horrible customer service in my life where consultants fail to do the bare minimum which is to follow up and actually deliver what they promised and now i doubt i will get my money back in this life time.
