South Hills Lifestyle Estate AFHCO ********

AFHCO Property is ripping people off in a very bad way. When I moved into the SOUTH HILLS LIFESTYLE ESTATE I had to pay a deposit of R6450 plus my months rent in advance. I first stayed at Block D and had many challenges in such a way that I had to ask for an Internal move and moved to Block L. At Block D there was absolutely no signal couldn't even make a call from the inside of the unit and always had to go outside. I wasn't connected to DSTV or the WIFI for several months and there was a big rat coming through the pipes in the bathroom, disgusting. There were also many times when the water was disconnected for days on end up to 8 or 9 days at a time. I finally moved out at the end of November and I'm still battling to get my deposit back. When I contacted them last week they said it will be paid out this week and when I contacted them again this week they said next week. They also gave me a very unacceptable figure of R2,900 and something that they going to pay me back cause they will be using my deposit money to repaint the unit I have moved out of. PEOPLE PLEASE BE VERY VERGILENT FOR RENTING PLACES LIKE THESE, THEY **** YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY AND RIGHTS, SO BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE MOVING INTO PLACES LIKE THIS.
