Rental Deposit

Afhco Property Management is one hell of a ***** company,they ******* the people,particularly the poor,they don't stick to the contract,I was a tenant at. 120 End Street in Johannesburg (From September 2014 to February. 2015,on the lease agreement it states that when you need to move out you have to give a 20 working days' notice which I did,and if you terminate the contract without having served the whole term(12 months' calender) from the commencement of the lease contract they shall impose a reasonable penalty,on the contrary they are refusing to reimburse my deposit when I demand it,they say I am forfeiting it due to not having served the entire lease term,how pathetic and self centred of them..one of their dim witted and ill informed spin doctors called me saying the reasonable penalty in this context refers to 'forfeiture of my deposit'.not even in the real estate jargon that has the same meaning.<br> <br> I am escalating the matter with the Ombudman,Estate Agency Affairs Board and the Renta housing tribunal,I will leave no stone unturned,it is about time we expose these capitalists who exploit our people's lack of knowledge for profits and self enrichment.
