Refund Hassle

It's very frustrating to know that getting my deposit is such a hassle. The policy states that one should give a 30-day notice before moving out which I did in December and the exit process was not communicated to me. I'm still struggling til this day to get my deposit back and the people in charge did not communicate with me that I was supposed to sign any paperwork with the building manager. I urgently need my deposit back, this is a big inconvenience.
