Poor service

I resigned at work last month and I told caretaker that I want to downgrade from one bedroom flat to a bachelor's flat .They asked me for my documents and i gave them .Today they phoned me telling me that they can't proceed with my request coz they phoned my previous work and they told them I m no longer working there.I don't think it's necessary for them to ask me my documents as if I m applying for the first time .I m staying at Metropolitan for 3 years now , I m not owing even a single cent of rent but they are treating me like a dog .I don't think I will recommend anyone to Ithemba property coz the service is poor.
