Old unmaintained buildings, ****mers, rude building manager , and the worst customer service

I stayed with Afcho for a year, possibly the worst time of my life.

I occupied a unit with them at Jeppe Post Office last year.

Upon moving-in the checklist was not done, and i found the unit with a lot of problems, it was not adequately painted, locks were not working , the stove was faulty and the built-in cupboards were worn out. I requested on countless occasions that it be fixed nothing was done.

Later this year the unit started leaking, which i reported countless times with no response, i had a printer and a heat compressor that got damaged because of this leak , i immediately put a eviction notice.

3 days before the day of vacating came in the building manager, and she practically chased me, switched of the lights and threatened to change the locks( despite being a loyal customer paying rent on time)

They are now refusing to give me my deposit, claiming that a check in /out was done ( which is false, none of these documents have my signiture) and i am liable for extra costs because my deposit was not enough to cover damages(that i found when i moved in , damages caused by leaks , and damages neglected despite having requested repairs.

Building managers are rude, customer service doesnt care. Do not waste your time.
