Not paying deposit

Not sure if this company is just a legit **** or real business. They refused to pay my deposit of +R6000 , this was a joint application but my co tenant stayed there most of the time . When it was time to leave, she submitted the notice as per requirement, she was then advised (By a person called Bright Mnothoza) to ask me as the 2nd tenant to write an Affidavit stating that the deposit may be deposited into her account and in my affidavit i also stated that i am a co tenant .

Long story short, I escalated the matter and a lady called Thobile was assisting me but eventually also said the deposit will remain a forfeiture because apparently my co tenant was told that i also need to sign a notice form and that it was her responsibility to let me know.
