Moving out because they’re taking over

They sent a letter on the 20th stating that rent is increasing, we didn’t even know they were taking over as property management. So I’ve decided to move out, I’d rather live in a back room than deal with a company that comes on an already breaks the law. Clearly I’m going to have problems so it’s better if i just leave now.
