Locked out of the unit

I was locked out of my unit without a warning,I am currently facing financial changes that resulted in me not being able to pay my rent for this month,after I realised that I will not be able to continue with my lease and notice the landlord of my departure they started threatening to lock me out immediately if I don’t pay my rent the same day,they eventually did locked out the unit just like that without a warning or grace period to pay the amount,I’m currently in the streets with nothing coz everything is locked in the unit
