Lease agreement

I recently had a disappointing experience with AFHCO regarding the end of my lease agreement. Despite my best efforts to communicate clearly and follow all required procedures, I faced an unexpected and substantial penalty for leaving before the lease term ended.

When I initially signed the lease, I was aware of the clause that required a notice period and a potential penalty for early termination. However, due to unforeseen personal circumstances, I needed to move out sooner than planned. I promptly informed the management well in advance and provided the necessary documentation to support my request.

To my dismay, the response from the management was neither empathetic nor accommodating. They were rigid about enforcing the maximum penalty, which was an exorbitant fee that felt disproportionately high given my situation. Additionally, the process was poorly communicated. I found myself having to chase down information, and the responses were often delayed or unclear.

Despite my attempts to negotiate a fair solution, the management remained inflexible. Not only was I charged the full penalty, but there were also additional fees that were not clearly outlined in the lease agreement. This lack of transparency was frustrating and felt unfair.

Overall, my experience with AFCHO has been extremely disappointing. The management's lack of empathy and rigid enforcement of penalties, combined with poor communication and transparency, has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I would caution anyone considering renting here to be very wary of the lease terms and prepared for potential difficulties if circumstances change unexpectedly. And the maintance team is very bad.
