IF YOU THINK YOU'LL GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK - THINK AGAIN!

Just a very Friendly warning if you're looking to rent with AFHCO property mafias - YOU WILL NOT get back the deposit you are asked to put in when signing up for a lease! I paid a deposit of R4200 when moving into Stuttafords House but have not received a cent back, even after looking after their apartment the way that I did. Look, I wasn't expecting to get back the entire R4200 - BUT, Imagine my shock and disappointment when I was told that I am liable for R2040 (excluding final water charges) to fix walls that I did nothing to. As I write this, I have STILL not received any word about whatever amount they are prepared to pay back. I have sent in countless mails and called about every person I can imagine there, but no one is saying a word, that time I was relying on some of the deposit to survive the month as moving left me broke. Why promise a refund when you know tenants WILL NOT GET IT BACK? It's painful!

Imagine this: if I were the one that had defaulted on my rent, I would have been locked out within hours, but when its time for THEM to pay up, suddenly they act dumb and ***********.

It will not even help complaining with about this property group as it is clearly standard practice for horrible service there, and for them to rob tenants of their hard earned money. I knew of such complaints when I moved in but I thought it would not happen to me and things do improve eventually; but no one at this company is honest, absolutely NO ONE. They are ALL in it to rob black people of what they work hard for. Do not say you were not warned. Do a simply internet search to read about how badly people are treated here. It is pathetic!

Do not waste your hard-earned money on this company - they are cruel ******* that will stop at nothing to ***** form a black person. They are so used to such complaints that they will not even attempt to pretend that they are doing something to assist their tenants that keep them operating. I am not so angry anymore. I know history will judge them harshly one day. Every thieve has its day.

you are talking absolute nonsense as the faults on the wall were "structural" defects, as clearly indicated on the form filled in by my building manager, which I happily signed as he assured me that I had nothing to do with the walls as the construction company AFHCO used did a **** job to begin with. Now, I don't know what you guys understand by "structural" defects. Why must I as the tenant be the one to cover the cost? Absolute nonsense! Let me break it down to you: the reason I decided to move out was due to rain flooding the flat, which nothing as done about for an entire year I stayed there, yet you guys had the nerve to rent out the unit again before I could be fixed. I would come back home from work after a rainy day and my flat would be flooded. Consult with building manager Themba before responding to what you have no clue about; and even if I had done something to a wall that needed painting, how the hell can a paint job to cost R2040? This is the exact thievery and *********** service everyone complains about here.
