I want my deposit back afhco

So I lived at afhco and I remember a few months back when I was telling people that I'll be moving, the first thing they told me was that I must forget about MY deposit because afhco will do everything not to repay it. Well, it turns out to be true because now they don't want refund MY deposit because of maintenance issues (you are all warned) - which is their responsibility. Painting an aging wall and ceiling and fixing leakes is maintenance issues that afhco has to sort out (unless caused by me - which in this case, is not) now they're using this as an excuse not to refund my deposit. Mind you, the aging of walls and ceiling has been an issue since I moved in with the property having been painted twice in my time there and this would be the third time and the two times I was never charged a cent with afhco taking full responsibility for their mess but because this time around I'm moving out they're just making excuses not to refund my deposit...I will fight tooth and nail to get my deposit back, I don't care how small it might be but R2000 to me is a lot of money and I want it back.

This is very disgusting.
