FORFEITURE OF DEPOSIT

I signed a lease agreement effective 1st August 2015 to 31st July 2016, a 12 month calendar period.<br> I have terminated my lease agreement and have given notice before the 12 month period has ended and according to the lease agreement signed, it states as per Clause 19.1 \ The tenant may cancel this agreement by serving notice of at least 20 business days, before they want the lease to end\"<br> Upon handing in my notice on the 5th February 2016, I called to confirm whether the relevant documents have been received, of which I was told the AFHCO offices are not receipt of such documents. I then re-sent the same documents on the 10th February and hand delivered hard copies of these documents on the 11th February, where I was advised that I will forfeit my deposit, without them even looking at the documents.<br> I called their offices on the 12th February and spoke to Sananile Msomi, who advised I forfeit my deposit. <br> I then called their offices again requesting to speak to a manager and I was referred to a lady named Charlene Zinn, who advised that I forfeit my deposit due to terminating my contract earlier &amp
