Faulty STOVE for weeks
I have reported a faulty stove in my flat two weeks ago. The maintenance personnel took out the faulty one and gave me his for one day. The next day when I came back from work, he had taken his stove and put another one for me which was also not working. The first day, he took me and showed some new plates he got from the office and how that he was going to fix mine the next day and put it back but that never happened. I was also in liaison with the building manager who told me he was going to remove one from one lady's flat who was moving out the next day but the story changed. He said it could not happen.
Afhco have been revamping some flat in the building and they all have new cabinets, wardrobes and stoves for new tenants who are moving in. I think this is unfair, because as much as you attract new tenants by flashy flats, you should look after those who have been in your building also. The manager told me, he tried but he is sorry HE CANNOT HELP ME, THERE IS NO STOVE. I want to know, what should happen, should I buy my own stove now? Why is afhco not communicating if we have to buy our own stoves and why was this not stated in the contracts? I have see the new flats and they look great, what about the rest? Having Wi-Fi and a gym does not cut it, we need basic services as well, not luxury. If my stove is not fixed by the end of this month, I will be moving out. I could not cook for the past two weeks, imagine what impact that has on me, ay niyanya kodwa sometimes, NXAAA!!!
Regards
