Electricity cutting off
I am a tenant at 120 End street in Doornfontein.my rent I'd due by the first of every month .I had a financial hick up which made me pay late. The moment I realized I was having financial problem I went to the office to make an arrangement. A few days later nonresponse came so I decided to call. The area manager of my building was said to be busy.I tried 3 times still no help. Yesterday as I arrived home I found electricity cut off.I looked for the building manager to ask him to switch on power as my insulins were in the fridge and I depend on medication daily. The manager said he was not allowed, despite the fact I had explained that I'm in chronic medication. As we speak my two weeks supply is spoilt and hospital can't replace as they suspect you are abusing the system.when I called this morning to explain that I need electricity I can't ask my neibours to keep my medicine, it's not safe.it could be tempered with,I was told that its my fault that I ended up defaulting on treatment. Afhco has no regards of law and simply have no care... What a mount of money is equal to my life. The gentleman I spoke to even asked what proof I had that I was risking my life or that I'm sick.I will gladly provide that proof now that iv settled my account how ever i need to know how my medication will be replaced. I know that switching off municipal supplies is ellegal, why is Afcho an exception. I am an old tenant but get to be treated like a common ****.
