Disgruntled Former Tenant

Hi I was a tenant at South Hills Life style Estate. I moved out end of January 2020. When they were supposed to refund my deposit, they charged me for lock replacement R 650.00 (Which they removed themselves because they used it for another flat soon after I moved out): Remote replacement R 350.00 ( which I returned soon after I moved in because it was not functioning) and they further charged me R 3 000.00 to repaint a 2 bedroom flat of which beside your normal wear & tear, there was no other damage in the apartment and I think its ridiculous to charge 3k for a +/- 54m2 flat, indoor paint job.

After all of this they remain unresponsive after multiple emails and calls.

It's actually unfair to receive such treatment after faithfully paying rent and cooperating with them. In fact it's day light *******. Because they mess up and you pay for the mess.

I just want my money back!
