Disappointed tenant

I was renting a flat in Pretoria Golf Park estate. The flat above mine had a water spill and water was flowing down my ceiling and removed the paint on the cornish. It was reported to the building manager and nothing was done about it. When we moved in there were loose tiles that we reported and written on the pre inspection. I moved out end of February 2024 and now they charging me for painting that ceiling and fixing the loose tiles. I am been send fro post to pillar as they rejecting my appeal. They expect me to fir something that had nothing to do with me, something that was their responsibility.

When I reported the tiles the building manager even said that it is a problem of most of the apartments on the ground floor.
